Stitch & Roe
My Workbench
From the Workbench
Hi, I'm Sarah Roe, founder and leather artisan behind Stitch & Roe.
What started as a hobby in 2021 quickly became something much bigger. I fell in love with the process of creating with my hands and transforming worn, weathered materials into something meaningful that can be carried and enjoyed for generations.
Stitch & Roe specializes in one of one leather goods handcrafted from vintage sporting equipment, personal heirlooms, and materials that hold a story worth preserving. Some customers send me their own baseball gloves, footballs, and other treasured sporting goods to be transformed into functional keepsakes. Other pieces are created from my personal collection of nearly 300 vintage baseball gloves, which I use to create the one of one items released during my drops throughout the year.
It is just me behind the workbench. Every piece is designed, cut, stitched, and finished entirely by hand in my Indiana workshop. There is no production line, no employees, and no shortcuts. Because of that, no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
Throughout the year, I split my time between creating one of one pieces for scheduled releases and working through a limited number of custom projects. Whether a piece is created from a family heirloom or a glove from my personal collection, my goal remains the same: to create something meaningful that honors the story behind the materials.
The most rewarding part of this work isn't creating wallets, notebook covers, or keepsakes. It's hearing the stories behind the materials and helping preserve a small piece of someone's life in a form that can be carried, used, and eventually passed down.
My hope is that every piece leaving my workbench becomes something worth carrying today and passing down tomorrow.
Thank you for being here and for supporting handmade craftsmanship.

Stitch & Roe
It starts with your life stories.
The leather may be upcycled,
but the soul in each piece remains. What once held laughter and love on late summer nights comes back to life, resembling the same resilience within us all.
Hand down your heart.
Hand down history.
